Frequently Asked Questions
1. Q: How many months do I have to buy and can I cancel at any time?
A: The first two weeks are fifty cents. After that you will automatically be charged every month. You may cancel at any time, no questions asked!
2. Q: Do I need special equipement to participate in these training programs?
A: These programs were designed with access to a weight room in mind. A gym with plenty of free wieghts, a cable column, and a squat rack should be all you need. Many of the exercises also use a Swiss ball and some use a medicine ball. I will be able to recomment substitutions for some exercises as necessary. But these programs were designed with access to a weight room in mind.
3. Q: How many days per week are covered by these programs?
A: The typical four week phase includes three weight room sessions, two conditioning workouts, and two speed work sessions. How many of these session you do and which you choose will depend on the time you have available for training and your particular training goals. Suggestions are given on how to make the most of your training sessions depending on how many hours per week you plan to train.
4. Q: Is there a team membership option?
A: Sort of. There is a group rate available. $60 per 10 people per month. Contact Melissa for more info.
5. Q: How good can online training programs be? Wouldn't a personal strength and conditioning coach be better?
A: A knowledgeable strength and conditioning coach is always the best option. Someone that can individualize your program, ensure you have perfect form, and knows your strengths and weaknesses will get you the best results. It is expensive and worth it. But if you're not going to do that, do this!
6. Q: Why isn't the website open to new members year round?
A: The goal of The Ultimate Athlete Project is to help players take a long term view of their training. The site is open at times when players should be thinking about thier off season training. I do not want players signing up three weeks before the season starts hoping for a quick fix to get in shape. The Ultimate Athlete Project guides players from off season to pre-season to in-season with proper progression all the way.
